Size Guide
Find Your
Right Size
Jewelry is personal. The right proportion can change how a ring feels on your hand, how a necklace sits around the neckline and how an ear piece balances with your overall look.
Three small measurements can make a big difference.
For the most accurate fit, measure carefully and compare your result with the measurements provided on the individual product page. Jewelry fit can also vary according to design, width, shape and personal preference.
Measure Carefully
Use a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper when measuring around a finger or the area where the jewelry will sit.
Do not pull too tightlyCheck Your Result
Repeat the measurement more than once and compare the result with the product measurements before selecting your preferred size.
Measure more than onceConsider the Design
Wider rings, sculptural forms and layered jewelry can feel different from thin or minimalist designs even when the basic measurement is similar.
Fit depends on silhouetteRing Size
The best starting point is to measure the inside circumference of a ring that already fits comfortably, or measure around the finger where the new ring will be worn.
How to measure your finger
Wrap a narrow strip of paper or a flexible measuring tape around the base of your finger. Mark the point where the ends meet, then measure the length in millimeters.
Avoid measuring immediately after exposure to extreme heat or cold, as finger size can temporarily change. If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the base of your finger, make sure the ring can comfortably pass over the knuckle.
| Approx. Inner Circumference | Approx. Diameter | Fit Reference |
|---|---|---|
| 44–47 mm | 14.0–15.0 mm | Small |
| 48–51 mm | 15.3–16.2 mm | Medium |
| 52–55 mm | 16.5–17.5 mm | Medium / Large |
| 56–59 mm | 17.8–18.8 mm | Large |
| 60–63 mm | 19.1–20.1 mm | Extra Large |
Different pieces, different ways to measure.
VANYALUNE collections include sculptural rings, long necklaces, earrings, ear cuffs and distinctive hair accessories. Each category has its own fitting considerations.
Length and placement
Necklace length determines where the pendant or chain sits on the body. When choosing a necklace, consider both the stated chain length and the overall pendant dimensions.
- Shorter chains generally sit closer to the collarbone.
- Medium lengths can fall naturally across the upper chest.
- Longer styles are suitable for layering and statement styling.
- Large pendants may visually extend the overall drop length.
Drop, proportion and placement
Earring sizing is generally determined by the overall height, width, drop and attachment position rather than a conventional clothing-style size.
- Stud earrings are generally measured by face diameter or width.
- Drop earrings are measured from the piercing point to the lowest point.
- Hoops are typically described by their outer diameter.
- Statement pieces may feel different depending on weight and structure.
Position matters more than a traditional size
Ear cuffs are designed to sit on different areas of the outer ear. Because ear shapes vary significantly, placement can affect how securely and comfortably a cuff fits.
- Choose the placement recommended in the product description where available.
- Do not force a cuff into a position that feels uncomfortable.
- Adjust gently when the design allows adjustment.
- Check the product details for any specific fitting information.
Hair accessories and decorative pieces
Hair accessories such as sculptural hairpins are generally selected according to hair thickness, hairstyle and desired placement rather than a fixed numerical size.
- Consider the thickness and texture of your hair.
- Thicker hair may require a longer or stronger hairpin.
- Fine hair may work better with lighter decorative pieces.
- Product dimensions should always be checked before ordering.
Jewelry should feel personal, not restrictive.
Our pieces are designed to complement individual styling rather than enforce a single way of wearing jewelry. Small differences in fit, proportion and placement can become part of the character of a sculptural piece.
Still unsure about the right fit?
Product pages may include additional measurements specific to an individual design. We recommend checking those measurements before placing your order, especially for sculptural or oversized pieces.
- Check the individual product measurements first.
- Measure your finger or preferred necklace position carefully.
- Consider the width and structure of statement jewelry.
- For ear cuffs, consider your intended placement.
- For hair accessories, consider hair thickness and styling.
- Contact VANYALUNE if you need product-specific guidance.
